Tailored for use in cleanrooms

Semiconductors and insulators, mechatronic and precision mechanical components, sensitive optical systems, and metrological components cannot be manufactured to quality standards without strict cleanliness requirements. However, the higher the cleanroom classification, the fewer suitable lifting devices are available on the market. The lift2move cleanroom fills this gap: As a mobile material handling system with an electrically powered lifting mast, it meets the requirements of Cleanroom Class 5 according to ISO 14644-1—certified by the Fraunhofer IPA Institute. This makes EXPRESSO one of the few manufacturers capable of providing cleanroom-compatible material handling solutions.

Cleanroom construction down to the last detail

The lift2move cleanroom is constructed almost entirely of stainless steel and aluminum. All surfaces are glass bead blasted, electropolished, or anodized—uncompromisingly tailored for cleanroom use. It incorporates the premium features of the proven Solution model from the lift2move series and supplements them with components that are consistently optimized for cleanroom environments.

VPC Position Control
Up to 8 user-defined heights are approached precisely and automatically—with a choice of 8 adjustable lifting speeds (2× 100, 80, 50, or 20%). Manual operation remains possible at any time.
Fixed control cabinet
Houses the lead-acid batteries (18 Ah / 24 V) as well as the integrated wireless control unit. The emergency stop switch and charge level indicator are located on the outside at waist height, within easy reach.
Smooth-running chassis
Non-marking polyurethane casters that meet ESD standards ensure quiet transport, a smooth ride, and abrasion-free rolling performance suitable for cleanrooms.
Stability suspension
Designed with a low center of gravity for optimal roll stability. Enables safe, stable, and yet swift maneuvering, even when fully loaded.
Three-stage parking brake
Level 1 locks the rear swivel casters, Level 2 unlocks them for free rotation and swiveling, and Level 3 locks them in a straight-line position for better directional stability over longer distances.
