EXPRESSO Privacy Policy

You can visit the pages of EXPRESSO Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG without disclosing who you are. We only learn the name of your Internet service provider, the website from which you are visiting us, and the web pages you visit on our site. This information is not evaluated and you remain anonymous as an individual user. We automatically collect and store in our server log files information that your browser transmits to us. These are:

Collection, processing and use of personal data

You can visit our site without disclosing any personal information. We only store access data without personal reference via the statistics service “Google Analytics” (see below). This data is evaluated exclusively for the improvement of our offer and does not allow any conclusion to your person. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order for goods or when opening a customer account or registering for our newsletter. We use the data provided by you without your separate consent exclusively for the fulfillment and processing of your order. With complete execution of the contract and full payment of the purchase price, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data. When registering for the newsletter, your e-mail address or your address (when ordering the newsletter by mail) will be used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Unsubscribing is possible at any time.

Use of Hotjar

To improve the user experience on our websites, we use the software Hotjar (http://www.hotjar.com, 3 Lyons Range, 20 Bisazza Street, Sliema SLM 1640, Malta, Europe). Using Hotjar, we can measure and evaluate user behavior (mouse movements, clicks, scroll height, etc.) on our websites. For this purpose, Hotjar sets cookies on users’ end devices and can store user data such as browser information, operating system, time spent on the page, etc. in anonymized form. Passing on of personal data

Your data will be passed on to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. For the processing of payments, we transmit your payment data to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and to the payment service selected in the ordering process, e.g. PayPal.

Data subject rights

In accordance with Art. 21 of the DSGVO, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data that is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) of the DSGVO (data processing based on your consent) and Art. 6(1)(b) of the DSGVO (data processing for the fulfillment of contractual obligations). With regard to the right to information and the right to erasure, the restrictions pursuant to Sections 34 and 35 BDSG-neu apply. In addition, there is a right of appeal to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 DSGVO in conjunction with § 19 BDSG).

Data security

Your personal data is encrypted during the ordering process and transmitted via the Internet using SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Credit card data or account information is not stored, but collected and processed directly by our payment service provider DNWS or (if selected as a payment method) PayPal or sofortueberweisung.de. We secure our website and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. Access to your customer account is only possible after entering your personal password. You should always keep your access information confidential and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share the computer with others.

Inventory data

Insofar as a contractual relationship is to be established between you and us, or its content is to be developed or changed, we collect and use personal data from you insofar as this is necessary for these purposes.
